To me, the palm trees soaring toward the California sky are far more than a mere element of the landscape. Within their perennial green vitality, I see the familiar, welcoming face of a neighborly man who has traveled from afar, bringing news from my homeland.
Beyond those trees—standing steadfast even as they sway in the breeze—lie the crimson sunsets, clouds, and distant shores of my dreams. As I watch the wind tangle in the treetops, the passions of my youth, the deep yearning for my mother, and the solitude of life in a foreign land converge and drift across the canvas.
In my long journey with the brush, I have come to a profound realization: the skies, trees, mountains, water, rocks, and wind I have depicted are, in essence, 'time' and the 'passing years.' The pristine Los Angeles sky after a rainfall, in particular, reveals the world's true, unadorned essence. Through my unique techniques and the lens of my heart, I strive to thoughtfully translate these sensory contemplations as a stranger into the language of art.
