Artist StatementLiving in California means being surrounded by evergreen trees that flourish throughout the seasons. To me, these trees have always felt like a romantic presence—like a familiar neighbor waiting for news from my homeland. When I look at them, I find myself imagining the sunsets, clouds, and hidden beaches that lie just beyond their branches.Watching these trees stand firm against the wind, reaching toward the sky, stirs a whirlwind of emotions within me: longing, solitude, memories of my mother, and reflections on my youth. Through my work, I have come to realize that the elements I paint—the sky, trees, mountains, water, rocks, and wind—are, in fact, the very embodiment of time and the passing years.The sky in Los Angeles after a rainfall reveals the world in its purest, most honest form. Through the eyes of my heart, I have captured these exotic landscapes on canvas, using my own unique techniques to express the depths of my feelings and thoughts.
